Th!nkgreen Natural Goods was founded in May 2003 by people familiar with organic products since 1988. Although founded in 2003, we began our efforts six years earlier. Company executives scoured the Greek countryside to find organic farms applying the proper procedures and meeting all specifications. Having selected the products they wanted, they began searching out traditional cultivation and manufacturing units to support the production and packaging of all these goods.

After completing this step, the company began working on realizing its objectives. The result is today we cover the Greek market as well as 17 countries abroad. In order to serve our customers, in addition to the production units, we have two warehouses for finished products, one in Northern Greece and the other in Germany. We also have a high profile at international exhibitions for organic, traditional and premium products. The company headquarters are in Thessaloniki.

“Throuba” is an unusual variety of black olives, in which a very different drying method is used, producing a quite unique flavor, truly a task for the specialists. Black olives are richer in total tocopherols than green and are the only ones containing b-tocopherols and a-tocotrienols.

 The amount of salt we use is ideal for the olive to be preserved without making it too salty. The modified nitrogen atmosphere method applied during
packaging ensures that the olive isn’t compressed and so will retain its liquids together with all its beneficial ingredients. Thyme, coriander, and other aromatic plants are added from a recipe from the nearby Mount Athos, imparting a quite unique taste to our olives.

“Throuba” is an unusual variety of black olives, in which a very special way of drying is used, producing a quite unique flavor, truly a task for the specialist. Black olives are richer in total tocopherols than green and are the only ones containing β-tocopherols and a-tocotrienols.

th!nkgreen’s selected yellowfin tuna is from the fine albacares variety with a yellowish fin and pale pink in color famed for its delicious tender flavor. Caught in the Atlantic and/or the Indian Ocean, it is compliant with the Dolphin Safe Treaty, where sustainable fishing is observed. Organic anemones from the distillation of Greek aromatic herbs, beeswax, oregano, laurel, and sage all embrace the pale pink color and compact texture of the selected yellow pepper of tuna, giving it the delicate aroma and refined taste of sun-drenched herbs of Greece. The combination of rich tuna with 5 different aromatic plants gives us a unique taste experience.

th!nkgreen’s selected yellowfin tuna is from the fine albacares variety with a yellowish fin and pale pink in color. It boasts a solid, tender texture, along with a delicate flavor. Originating from the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean, it is compliant with the Dolphin-safe Treaty, where sustainable fishing is observed.

We smoke the th!nkgreen selected yellowfin tuna over certified imported burning wood chips of beech, pine and oak. The wood is boiled and disinfected before being cut into chips and burned under strictly controlled conditions at constant humidity. This process produces the appropriate flavor, mixing harmoniously with the natural flavor of yellowfin tuna Albacares. The combination of smoked tuna meat and th!nkgreen’s organic Greek olive oil, allows the creation of a brilliant, original flavor. The Omega-3 fatty acids in tuna meat remain unaffected, so our smoked tuna continues to be a part of a healthy and balanced diet.

The difference in flavor added by this smoking process makes th!nkgreen’s tuna an excellent spicy appetizer with ouzo, retsina, and beer. Of course, you can prepare smoked tuna with salads and green leafy vegetables or legumes or you can add it to olives and capers in tomato sauce and pasta.

Combined with the balanced flavor of garlic, vinegar and olive oil, it offers an exceptional dining experience

Crispy, rich fleshy roasted peppers. We have selected peppers from Florina because they are not only tasty but are also low in calories and rich in vitamins C, A, K, B6, and E.

Joining forces with the balanced flavor of garlic, vinegar, and olive oil, it offers an exceptional dining experience. We select only the longest and straightest organic peppers for easy peeling. We wash and dry the peppers, place them on a roasting pan and cook them for a few minutes evenly on each side. This procedure must be done quickly. Then, we let them cool down on a clean surface, cut the stem and remove the seeds. Carefully removing the skin, we place them in a glass jar and add slices of garlic, parsley and drizzle them with vinegar.

With the addition of organic Greek olive oil, the roasted red th!nkgreen peppers are ready for your table.
